1. Controller
European Trainingdata (sole proprietorship), owner Luca Weber-Schäfer
Sternstr. 14, 13359 Berlin, Germany
Email: luca@european-trainingdata.com, phone: +49 1590 630 4287
2. Hosting
This website is operated by Railway Corporation, San Francisco, USA. The servers are located in the European Union. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Railway. Where data are transferred to the USA, this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). The legal basis for operating the website is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Server log files
When the website is accessed, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system. These data are used to deliver the website and to fend off attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are not combined with other data and are only stored for as long as necessary for operation and security.
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns an engagement or its preparation, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Booking a call
To book a call we offer the appointment page of Google Calendar, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The calendar is only loaded when you click “Show calendar” or open the link. Only then are data such as your IP address transmitted to Google. The legal basis is your consent given by this click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Google's privacy policy applies to the processing by Google. We use the details you provide when booking to prepare and hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
6. Forms
Through the forms “Valuation”, “Request dataset” and “Data request” we collect your contact details and your information on the dataset or on your requirements. We use them to handle your enquiry, to prepare an anonymous data sheet and to find suitable buyers or datasets (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The information is stored on our server in the EU.
We delete the information when it is no longer required for this purpose, at the latest three years after the last contact, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Data from datasets offered
Company data that we anonymise as part of a realisation are processed by us exclusively as a processor on the basis of a separate agreement under Art. 28 GDPR with the respective controller. This privacy policy only covers the use of this website.
8. Cookies, audience measurement and fonts
We do not use cookies or third-party analytics tools. To improve the website, we measure usage ourselves and without cookies: when a page is opened, your browser transmits the page, the domain of the referring website, how long the page was visible and how far you scrolled, as well as clicks on email or phone links, opening the booking calendar and submitting forms. From the IP address and browser identifier we create a truncated hash with a random value that changes daily, in order to group visits on the same day. The IP address is not stored, and the random value is not stored permanently, so you are not recognised across several days. We also store the device type (desktop, mobile, tablet). No cookies or similar identifiers are stored on your device for this. The data are stored on our server at Railway in the EU, are not passed on to third parties and are deleted after 13 months. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing the website to meet demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” is enabled in your browser, no measurement takes place.
The answers in the questionnaire are only transmitted to us when you submit it with your contact details. Fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts.
9. External links
We link to press reports and other websites. When you visit them, the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.
10. Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
